TENSPEED HERO X OH MY
A collaboration between Tenspeed Hero and myself.
The 2019 Tenspeed Hero resort collection stemmed from a screen print I created that was inspired by my father’s George Takei impression. A classic singular phrase, ‘Oh My!’ I illustrated what the letters might look like to match the changing pitch of the phrase said aloud. This blossomed into a pattern that reflected the Tenspeed Hero’s signature Sprinkles motif. The original print and collection is based on playfulness, and organic connection. Which pairs perfectly with Tenspeed Hero’s vibrant use of color, and good humor.
I wanted the collection to be playful, loud and make you say ‘Oh My’ as you watch the wearer speed past.
